I know I haven't posted in awhile, but it has come to my attention that I am just a weirdo magnet. I could be minding my business walking down the street and somehow I cross paths with someone who has a few screws loose. Now it could be because I live in NYC, the capital of weirdos, but I think this happens all too often. A few occasions at work, I have been approached by customers who almost scare me and almost make me wish I could run away without seeming rude.
For example, today some guy approached me and was sketchy to begin with and then has an attitude problem but goes from asshole to nice guy. As I'm ringing him up he mentions he's divorced...now why the hell do I Care? I just asked you what your zip code is not to explain your life story. 28 years old and divorced smh.
Another time some older man at least 60 approached me and starts a conversation with me out of random just because I said hi to him. He turned out to be newly divorced as well and was with his daughter who was about 30. Why the hell are you trying to hit on a 22 year old who is old enough to be your own kid?
Also my flamboyant manager comes out to me, which while I'm flattered he trusts me enough to tell me, I don't really need to know this and that you like the morenitos lol.
Things have been slow lately because of work but I'm sure they're bound to pick up...I hope.
